Our intent in bringing these two Jewish philanthropic organizations together is to enhance our combined strengths and resources to better serve our diverse Jewish community in the Valley.
CJP aims to put donor intent at the heart of philanthropy. We want to understand your Jewish interests and help you support the projects and programs you care about most.
We plan to develop deeper, more meaningful relationships with you so that we can best meet your philanthropic objectives.
To be an engaged, vibrant, and secure community rooted in Jewish values.
To energize and sustain Jewish life and leadership throughout Greater Phoenix, in Israel, and around the world.
The Phoenix CJP provides opportunities for philanthropy and engagement at all stages of Jewish life.
Through our programs and grants we impact the lives of millions of people in Phoenix, in Israel, and around the world.
The Center for Jewish Philanthropy identifies and addresses the greater Phoenix Jewish community’s greatest challenges and opportunities.
Our legacy organizations, the Jewish Community Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix were here when this community was built and have been at its center for over a combined 130 years.
We are focused on the future as much as the present, having both the 35,000-foot view required to plan for tomorrow and the hands-on partnerships that make it possible for us to care for our community today. We do this in collaboration with our organizational partners and our most committed leaders and donors.
We focus on our local greater Phoenix community and support those organizations doing essential work in Israel and throughout the Jewish world.
Our goal is to create the kind of enduring Jewish community we all want and need, based on shared goals and Jewish values.
New to Phoenix? We’ve got an opportunity for you.
100,000+ Jews call Phoenix home and live all over the city and surrounding areas. We have synagogues, schools, camps, adult learning, cultural arts, an array of volunteer opportunities, social service supports and more. We live alone, with non-Jewish partners, in blended families, with and without children, in multi-generational households and every other family configuration.
Never miss important news and always be informed about recent happenings with the CJP.
